Our Journey
We started our journey in crypto by supporting the pioneering public blockchain networks that have become the cornerstones of the space. We weren’t sure which ones would ultimately succeed, whether there would be one blockchain or multiple blockchains that will prevail, but we realized it was important to support as many initiatives as possible so that we can collectively understand the benefits and pitfalls of each approach to blockchain design.
What ultimately transpired was that multiple networks survived, and the thesis for this entire space was proven to be correct. However, we realized that we still have ways to go, and networks need more than capital to reach its eventual destination. Look at the diverse participants in the Ethereum ecosystem: developers, engineers, researchers, economists, cryptographers, mathematicians, and yes, even the legal counsel and business managers must all pool their talent together to push the network forward. At Sikarra Ventures, our hope is to be able to support the network development in as many ways as possible.
This will be a multi-decade journey and we aspire to be here for the entire ride.
